For young and high potential candidates, NewForesight offers an Analyst position or a chance to follow a 6-month Junior Analyst program

At NewForesight, the Junior Analyst program offers graduates a chance to work on at least two client-facing projects with ample opportunity to learn and develop your skills. You are assigned an experienced consultant as a mentor to help you identify your development priorities, and to ensure you have the opportunity to work on these. Alongside, junior analysts attend several in-depth internal training from hypothesis-based consulting to advanced Excel skills.

The Junior Analyst program gives you an opportunity to grow within the organization.  We take on junior analysts with the intention to hire them after this program!

Specific responsibilities for Junior Analysts: 

  • Quantitative and qualitative research and analysis (e.g. industry level analysis of agri-commodity sectors)
  • Project management support
  • Ability to quickly translate theory into practically applicable project content
  • Assist in organizing our projects, with progressive client exposure depending on capabilities
  • Ad-hoc research projects and practical matters such as building PowerPoint presentations
  • Speaking your mind when you see opportunities or areas of improvement

 Our analysts have strong analytical and conceptual minds. We support young professionals in their ambitions and capabilities throughout their time at NewForesight. Being an analyst at NewForesight is incredibly versatile, you conduct qualitative and quantitative research and you are the one that really delves into the content. This way you learn about different sectors and commodities.One day you are involved in cocoa production and the next day your actively working on landscape approaches. Overall, our analysts are quick, creative and above all eager to learn.

Specific Responsibilities for Analysts:

  • The analyst will support consultancy work and have own responsibilities and deliverable
  • Play an integral role in projects with functions ranging from research, development of presentations, data analysis, value chain analysis
  • The analyst will have a broad spectrum of work streams in a dynamic, high professional environment
  • Deliver high quality outcomes and serve our clients, with a focus on building long-term partnerships
  • Perform sector system analyses and the develop alternatives for any concept or practice
  • Find and analyze data regarding sustainability in the broad sense
  • Take up various consulting support roles
