About this event

Water scarcity, biodiversity loss and the need to transition towards more regenerative agricultural practices are challenges that cannot be solved by individual organisations alone.

At Fruit Attraction in Madrid, the WAVE Aconcagua Partnership will bring together partners from across the fruit value chain to share lessons from collective action in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley.

The session will explore how growers, companies and local stakeholders are working together around shared water and biodiversity challenges, what it takes to put water stewardship and regenerative agriculture into practice, and what other fruit-growing regions can learn from the experience in Aconcagua.

During the panel, we will discuss:

1. How growers and supply chain partners are working together
to address shared water and biodiversity risks.

2. What it takes to put water stewardship and regenerative agriculture into practice
drawing on experiences from the Aconcagua Partnership.

3. How lessons from Chile can inform collective action
in other fruit-growing regions.
