Driving Transformation.
My personal mission is to help build new concepts and new programs that inherently value sustainability and drive transformation towards sustainable markets in a mainstream way.

Sustainability is an elusive term. But the fact that our current modes of production and consumption are negatively affecting our environment and the livelihoods of tens of millions of commodity producing farmers and workers is far from elusive. The fact that we have to figure out a way to feed a growing world population is another issue that is very concrete, and pressing.
CSR is not a must but a chance! That’s what I want to show organizations by offering them practical approaches and concepts to integrate the care for people and planet in their daily and future business.
I am a practical idealist and engaged realist. I believe in empowering people to do better for themselves, while remaining economically viable. Changing political, social, and economical structures is not going to happen overnight. Being pragmatic and taking a step-wise approach to sustainability is what drives mainstream change and can truly be considered sustainable.
In 2025, the world has 8 billion inhabitants. The sustainable production of agricultural products becomes more important then ever: it's time for change. It's time to do things differently.
I grew up in the rural areas of the Netherlands, with a passion for development work as well as environmental work. I focused both my study and career on these two areas, working for several NGOs in the Netherlands, Thailand and Zimbabwe.
