The support provided by Thriving Coalitions is essential to the success of initiatives as we provide support services specialized in multi stakeholder coalitions and it offers support services like Legal, Financial administration, Marketing and Communication, back office support and project management. The position
Your responsibilities:

Assist and support the Office Manager and the Finance Manager with:

  • Development, implementation and maintenance of administrative procedures
  • Coordinating the upcoming move to a different office (in the next 1,5 months)
  • Assisting clients of Thriving Coalitions in logistical, administrative and support services
  • Procuring equipment; evaluating products, service, troubleshooting failures, calling for repairs
  • Maintaining professional appearance of offices
  • Optimize internal functioning of the office, including catering
  • Performing light HR work
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings
  • Import data for financial administration and process this data
  • Acquire approval on purchases and pre-prepare invoices for payment

Global Challenge: Despite decades of investment, certification and development aid, cocoa is still called the poor man’s crop—plagued by poverty, child labor and low productivity.
Your assignment: Support the team in convening and facilitating the leading cocoa processors and chocolate manufacturers to agree on a collaborative strategic agenda for structural change.

Global Challenge: It is currently not well understood what type of support actually improves the livelihoods of farmers in developing countries in the long run, nor what the return on investment of this support is.

  • Experience with relevant tasks

  • Hands-on mentality and team player
  • Interest in and knowledge of sustainability, development and agriculture
  • The Analyst is able to perform qualitative as well as quantitative analyses
  • Excellent English language skills. Dutch and other languages are a plus
