Cecilia is a Senior Consultant at NewForesight with an interdisciplinary background in plant science, sustainability, and digital innovation in the agrifood sector. Originally from Brazil, she recently relocated from the Netherlands to South Africa, bringing international experience across research, industry, and sustainability strategy.

Before joining NewForesight, Cecilia worked at Bayer Crop Science in the Netherlands, where she contributed to sustainability engagement strategies and led digital transformation initiatives within global seed operations. Her work focused on improving operational processes and supporting the integration of sustainability within agrifood systems. Cecilia combines scientific expertise with strategic insight to support the transition towards more sustainable and resilient agricultural value chains. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
