Peter obtained his (Hon.) bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Western University in Canada. With a keen interest in business and the environment Peter pursued his masters, receiving a Master of Science in Management of International Business from the Richard Ivey Business School in London, Ontario, which took him to India to work as a strategic consultant. He then pursued a second Masters in Science from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment. His thesis identified the economic factors that influenced actors in the seafood supply chain to mislabel their product, which he used to generate ways of disincentivizing these actions. Previous to his studies he worked in the sustainable seafood sector in the distribution, marketing, harvesting and sales. He also worked on technological solutions to traceability and food security.
Peter hopes to use the Junior Analyst program to diversify his understanding of sustainability beyond the seafood sector. He will be working on qualitative and quantitative projects, specializing in Service Delivery Models across various commodities. His focus will be on development and interpretations of models and generating key actionable outcomes for the projects.
