Green Gold Label, a standard for sustainable biomass, originated from a cooperation between Essent (currently RWE Energy) and certification body Control Union. Green Gold Label has the ambition to become an international, independent standard for sustainable biomass. To support this ambition, the organization needs adaptations from its current way of working and present governance structure. NewForesight is supporting Green Gold Label in defining a new, future proof governance model that is suitable to support their ambition to become the leading certification program for sustainable solid biomass In Europe.
