Marlien obtained a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics at Delft University of Technology with a minor at Université de Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris. Motivated to increase the link between science and society, she took TU Delft’s master on Science Communication, where system thinking is the main approach for analyzing and facilitating innovation and knowledge sharing within and between organizations. Alongside, Marlien took an additional annotation on sustainable development and the role of technological innovation. In her graduation project, Marlien studied the way pro-active work behavior can be stimulated among employees to enhance sustainable innovation.
With the Junior Analyst program Marlien aims to develop her expertise on strategy development and effective writing and presenting. While at NewForesight, she is working on several projects, including the development of a roadmap for regional sustainability progress in South-America, together with one of our frontrunner industry clients in coffee.
“At NewForesight I have the opportunity to contribute to world-wide sustainable market transformation on a daily basis. Together with many inspired colleagues, we allow stakeholders in the chain to transform their efforts into concrete outcomes.“
