The Green Gold Label programme is a certificate system for sustainable biomass. It covers production, processing, transport and final energy transformation.

Green Gold Label, a standard for sustainable biomass, originated from a cooperation between Essent (currently RWE Energy) and certification body Control Union. Green Gold Label has the ambition to become an international, independent standard for sustainable biomass. Oxfam Novib, founded in 1956 is an international NGO that works towards a just world without poverty. 

Oxfam Novib is working on a program named 'The right to sustainable livelihoods'. IDH is accelerating and up-scaling sustainable trade by forming ambitious coalitions between companies, governments and civil society organisations.

NewForesight has established  the 'Better Cotton Initiative Fast Track Program' on behalf of IDH, ICCO and Rabobank Foundation. A 20 million Euro fund has been established to help fast track and co fund the commitments of leaders in the garment sector to produce and source mainstream volumes of 'Better Cotton' and make their supply chains more transparant. The Round Table on Responsible Soy is the global platform composed of the main soy value chain stakeholders with the common objective of promoting the responsible soy production in order to foster a economical, social and environmental sustainability.

RTRS is preparing the final stages to launch RTRS certification system into the market.
